ABR (Blanket Resuscitation Device)

ABR (Blanket Resuscitation Device)

This device was jointly developed with Asahi Printec Co., Ltd. to address issues faced in the printing industry, such as material costs, workload, and environmental impact.

Resin is applied evenly to the base fabric layer of the normal blanket, whose thickness has been reduced (the rubber surface remains intact).

Normal blankets that were previously thrown away after a few months can now be used for a longer period by restoring the thickness of the base fabric layer.
Thickness restoration method
The blanket (with the base fabric layer facing up) is adsorbed and fixed onto a precision surface plate, and resin is applied and then spread and leveled with a blade.
Target blanket
Used newspaper press normal blanket
(If the metal fittings are damaged when removed, they cannot be reattached.)

• Air consumption: 18 NL/min (2 round trips/min)
*The spatula's movement speed can be adjusted using the air speed controller.
